Google just released its own browser in beta, called Google Chrome, offering the promise of increased speed, security and usability (faster, safer, and easier). This new web browser uses V8 JavaScript engine that features hidden class transitions, dynamic code generation, and precise garbage collection. According to wikipedia, Tests by Google show that V8 is about twice as fast as Firefox 3 and the Safari 4 beta. Chrome is also based on WebKit rendering engine on advice from the Android team. Time is Money. We’re already aware of this antiquated term, but After blogwalking to this site; “Is Time Really Money?” the author found that time does not equal money. Interesting logic! Yeah, no matter whether time equals money or not, i think most of us will agree that Time is Priceless! Time is a non-renewable resource, so we should spend our time wisely.
Actually there is already a tiny clock on our Windows desktop if we set to display it on taskbar, but i don’t know why, when i was busy doing my favorite work in front of computer, i used to lose track of time/forget time. Fortunately, i found via google, a freeware that always reminds me to remember time everytime i’m in front of my pc, the free software is called ClocX. It is an analog clock application for Microsoft Windows. ClocX is programmed in C++ language, which ensures small executable binary, optimal speed and low memory usage.

In order to get fixes for the inevitable “dot zero” bugs, WordPress officially released wp version 2.6.1. This version is a new update for the previous 2.6 “Tyner” release. Actually, You need NOT upgrade to 2.6.1, IF Wordpress 2.6 is OKAY. Yeah, this is just an ‘Optional Upgrade’. Styling of the admin for right-to-left languages is now much improved. Gettext bug caused by certain PHP configurations is now fixed. For IIS users, it also fixes several permalink problems. Image insertion problems in the Press This feature in IE fixed. Mozilla Firefox version 3.0.1 has just been released, this is a new update for Firefox3. According to me, Firefox is my best browser, yeah, i can tweak internet speed with this popular browser (2-3x faster than the ‘classic’ internet explorer). Its plugins, add-ons, performance, upgrades and updates make me always loyal to this Mozilla product, especially if some errors happen, i’m never afraid of my previous browsing sessions lost. It will restore the sessions ‘back’ to the session before it happened. Since Firefox 3 was released not long ago, there are improvements in this version, it’s 2-3x faster than the previous firefox2.
