You’re probably already aware of popular freewares i posted before e.g. Opera Mini 4.1, Firefox, AVG 8.0, avast! 4.8 Home edition (both avg and avast are popular Antivirus + Antispyware), and others (look at the previous posts). I just got a pop-up telling me that AVG’s now offering free upgrades for 7.5 customers. They finally released AVG Anti-Virus Free 8.0, the latest version of the company’s popular and widely-used free security software, which now incorporates protection against spyware through a new combined anti-virus and anti-spyware engine.
