This app works well on my XP Home. In options, i enable smartsilent technology while defragmenting. I also disable the ‘auto defrag’, and close any programs before defragging, it will be faster and not bother.

I had to uninstall it, after defragging my computer was acting up. If I clicked on anything up would pop my word processor. My browser hung for moments, or didn’t load certain pages. I have XP Home on an eMachine, I don’t know if it was just some software conflict. I am not complaining, it was for free, worth a try. It uninstalled without causing problems. Maybe it will work fine for you, and it’s free, the smiling price.
