Google just released its own browser in beta, called Google Chrome, offering the promise of increased speed, security and usability (faster, safer, and easier). This new web browser uses V8 JavaScript engine that features hidden class transitions, dynamic code generation, and precise garbage collection. According to wikipedia, Tests by Google show that V8 is about twice as fast as Firefox 3 and the Safari 4 beta. Chrome is also based on WebKit rendering engine on advice from the Android team.
