Let’s go on our ‘tweak windows‘ category. From the last post we know some great freewares to protect our windows os, e.g. free firewall, free antivirus, and also free antispyware. Those protections are enough at this time (yeah stay-tuned with any updates). It’s time to review a ‘cleaner’ program.

Mozilla has released Firefox 3 Beta 3 today. Firefox version 3.0 ? Yeah, but it’s still in beta 3, Firefox 3.0 is now in the development stage and is expected to be released in early 2008. The current stable release is Firefox 2.0.0.12 (in the last post).

With more applications installed in your computer, they will generally make your computer slower, especially when your Windows XP starts up. By the way not all of them are needed for your startup process. You can manually deactivate some apps in your toolbar tray and choose ‘disable/exit’. But, there are some programs like ‘QuickTime’ and others will be activated again when your computer restarts. It’s not practical to deactivate them everytime you starts your computer.
