The Official Google Blog has recently posted that Google Chrome is now available in final version 1.0. As you may already know from my previous post, Google Chrome - Simpler and Faster Open Source Browser, Chrome starts up fast, loads pages quickly, and just keeps getting faster. Since the first beta, the V8 JavaScript engine runs 1.4 times faster on the SunSpider benchmark and 1.5 times faster on the V8 benchmark — and there is more speed to come. Mozilla has released Firefox 3 Beta 3 today. Firefox version 3.0 ? Yeah, but it’s still in beta 3, Firefox 3.0 is now in the development stage and is expected to be released in early 2008. The current stable release is Firefox 2.0.0.12 (in the last post).
