You must already know that I use two AntiVirus programs, AVG Free Edition & avast! Home Edition. Yeah, I love both. Sometimes when one doesn’t recognize any trojans, another supports the hole. As you know, in the last post, i do not recommend you to use two or more same programs, because not only will they eat your memory resources but sometimes will also generate some conflicts between each other. But, is it enough for you? if your FINISH is now faster, then how is your START. Is your startup still slow? Then you wonder How to tweak your Startup process too. So let’s talk about “How to Tweak Startup process in Windows XP”.

With more applications installed in your computer, they will generally make your computer slower, especially when your Windows XP starts up. By the way not all of them are needed for your startup process. You can manually deactivate some apps in your toolbar tray and choose ‘disable/exit’. But, there are some programs like ‘QuickTime’ and others will be activated again when your computer restarts. It’s not practical to deactivate them everytime you starts your computer.
