Your internet speed is slow, want to tweak internet speed BUT your operating system is Windows XP Professional. By default, the Packet Scheduler of Windows XP Pro limits the system to 20 percent of the bandwidth of a connection, but you can use this setting to override the default. That packet is QoS ( Quality of service) for Windows XP. This packet may not be often used, so Why don’t we change the setting to tweak internet speed.
Determines the percentage of connection bandwidth that the system can reserve. This value limits the combined bandwidth reservations of all programs running on the system. If you enable the setting, you can use the “Bandwidth limit” box to adjust the amount of bandwidth the system can reserve. If you disable this setting or do not configure it, the system uses the default value of 20 percent of the connection.
But If a bandwidth limit is set for a particular network adapter in the registry, this setting is ignored when configuring that network adapter.
Here step by step to TUNE UP your bandwith limit in Windows XP > Group policy :
1. Go to “RUN” and type : gpedit.msc
2. Administrative Templates > Network > QoS Packet Scheduler
3. Double Click > “Limit Reservable Bandwith”
4. Limit Reservable Bandwith > Enabled , Bandwith limit 20% change to > 0%
5. click OK, and Restart your connection.

hi i have a bell 2wire internet box and i wont to boost my download speed from 260kbps to 1 mbps or 7mbps. i have unlimited download and the dum thing is that i am paying for a 7mbps internet speed and am not getting that,because i am too far from the bell service center or something like that.
so thats why im not getting that much of download speed and upload speed.

Which means MORE THAN ONE, and the word D-O-S-E is the used for an ammount of medicine, when you mean it d-o-e-s something or it d-o-e-s nothing it is spelled D-O-E-S not D-O-S-E and the word yeah is spelled Y-E-A-H not Y-E-A and I guess you mean that you are good at following I-N-S-T-R-U-C-T-I-O-N-S and if you W-A-N-T something it is NOT spelled W-O-N-T you *****, and if your still using a phone modem you really should get with todays technology and upgrade to either a cable modem or to a real DSL

U-S-I-N-G is not a plural form of the verb “use” but it’s the present tense form of the verb “use” so you better say it as “drop off the E at the end of a word that ends with a vowel before adding a suffix that begins with a vowel. And for your sentence “Which means MORE THAN ONE, and the word D-O-S-E is the used for an ammount of medicine”, just say “the word D-O-S-E is the “use” not “used”. One more thing it is A-M-O-U-N-T not A-M-M-O-U-N-T. Next time you correct a person with his/her english be sure all of your spellings and grammars are correct. I***T!!!
